- We provide starter supplies for our guests: 1 single use shampoo and bar of soap per bathroom, 1 sponge, 2 dishwasher tablets, 1 laundry detergent packet, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 small liquid dish soap, and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. 2 trash bags for kitchen trash can, 1 trash bag per trash can located outside in the bear cage (total of 2 trash cans outside). All other cabin supplies will need to be provided by the guests - Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and a $40 fee. Please contact us in advance to confirm. - bunkbeds by nature can be squeaky, please be aware of noise potential. - the tub in the master bathroom is NOT a jacuzzi tub, it is to be used only as a regular bathtub. - the gas fireplace is inoperable. Do not attempt usage as it will not work. The gas tank has been removed from the property for guest safety as of February 12, 2024. No gas tanks are located anywhere on the property for guest safety. This is a gas free cabin. - the last 1/2 mile of the road leading to the cabin, some guests may consider the road steep, during snow season we recommend an AWD vehicle. - in the mountains of east Tenneesee you will encounter wildlife, not limited to bears, deer, rodents, raccoons, critters, etc., these are normal and usual for all of East Tennessee - black bear frequent the area and cabin as it is located in the mountains and close to Great Smokey Mountains National Park. - food, beverages, spices, condiments, bagged ice are not provided. Guests are responsible for such items. - hottub - use at your own risk. If you have sensitivity to pool or hottub chemicals we advise that you do not use the hottub. - trash pick up is scheduled with the cleaning company upon your departure, if you need a scheduled trash pick up during your stay there is a $55 fee. Mountain Nature Disclaimer Please note: Our cabin is located in the Smoky Mountains, surrounded by forest and wildlife. While we have routine pest control and take preventative steps, occasional sightings of insects/critters may occur — especially during seasonal shifts. This is common for mountain cabins and not a sign of poor cleanliness. We respond quickly to any concerns if notified during your stay. Seasonal Note: Ladybugs are common in the Smoky Mountains during certain times of the year. Despite regular cleaning and pest prevention, some may be present. This is normal for the area. Keeping doors and windows closed helps prevent entry. Hot Tub Information: For sanitation purposes, the hot tub may be drained, cleaned, and refilled between guest stays. In some cases, a departing guest may check out on the same day that a new guest arrives, requiring the hot tub to be freshly refilled shortly before check-in. Fresh fill water typically enters the tub at approximately 55–65°F and may require several hours to reach operating temperature. Hot tubs generally heat at a rate of approximately 2–4°F per hour, and heating time will vary based on outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Guests arriving shortly after a refill may find the water below its final set temperature. This process helps ensure the hot tub is clean, sanitized, and ready for your stay. Community Pool Notice: The community pool is owned and operated by Honeysuckle, not by us. While Honeysuckle generally keeps the pool open during the season, they may close it at any time due to weather, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, safety concerns, or any other operational reason.
